GMV is growing rapidly in the number of customers and missions awarded and we are seeking motivated engineers with an interest in space to join our software development and validation teams. The candidate will be part of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of space mission ground control applications used to monitor and control spacecraft. Among others, tasks include:

  • Requirements Engineering
  • Software design
  • Software development and testing
  • Support of validation testing (separate team)
  • Production of relevant documentation

The selected candidate will join a team responsible for the production of Mission Control Systems for space missions of customers like the European Space Agency and EUMETSAT. The selected candidate will have to learn and be able to understand the operational needs behind the software requirements. S/he will have the chance to work in many different space missions for different customers, and therefore able to learn and contribute to different operation approaches followed by, e.g., the European Space Agency and EUMETSAT.

Requirements

- Academic degree: MSc in computer engineering or equivalent is mandatory.
- Level of English: Advanced
- Technical knowledge:

  • C++
  • Java
  • Unix/Linux
