Description
The successful candidate will take on technical responsibility for Attitude Determination and Attitude Control (ADCS) algorithm definition, analysis, trade-off and implementation at subsystem level within space missions in implementation phases (B, C and D), for different missions (asteroids, lunar landing, in-orbit servicing as secondary applications), including:
- analysis of ADCS Subsystem requirements/needs
- ADCS sensors and actuators evaluation, selection, modelling
- sensors/actuators selection impact analysis at system and subsystem level (location of sensors and actuators, ADCS achievable performances, ...)
- algorithm identification/trade-off and technical leadership to development
- definition and implementation of AIV/AIT lifecycle of ADCS subsystems at all required levels: simulation, processor-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop
- management and organization of GMV technical team: allocation of tasks, critical review, monitoring, tutoring, internal/external communication at technical level.
Requirements
- Academic degree: MSc in Aerospace, Control and Determintation or similar
- Level of English: Advanced
- Technical knowledge:
- ADCS technologies for space
- Advance attitude control techniques (thrusters, Reaction wheels)
- Projects Technical Leadership
- Space system engineering
- Matlab/Simulink
