Description

We are looking for a Subsystem engineer to work on operations and maintenance of the Columbus Control Center (Col-CC) video subsystem. This includes design, implementation, coordination and maintenance of a working video system to fulfill the customer’s requirements.

Requirements

- Academic degree: Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Level of English: Advanced
- Technical knowledge:

• Video system knowledge
• Video consumer market knowledge
• Familiarity with network technology
• Advanced knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
• Virtualization

- Valuable knowledge: 

• Troubleshooting capabilities
• Understanding of hardware and software interfaces
• Databases: MySQL
• Video Editing (Final Cut Pro)
• Development (C#, C/C++, Java, Python)
• Linux (SLES)
• Scripting (bash, gnuplot)
