Data Scientist

Description

Your main duties will be to design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and financial product enhancement, in particular, payment products. Some examples:

  • Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources (ETL)
  • Identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interpret and communicate insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product-, service-, and business-managers
  • Leverage statistical computing tools for data visualization, sampling, analysis, model selection, estimator bias, calculated variance, and significance testing
  • Architect solutions to handle large amounts of data, including data mining, optimization, reporting, and analytics
  • Develop use-case showcases to demonstrate automation of insights discovery from data

You will be working with stakeholders throughout the company to generate understanding, strategy and suggest actions based on data.

Requirements

- Academic degree: MSc. Computer Science
- Level of English: Upper Intermediate
- Technical knowledge:

  • Relational databases (Oracle)

- Desirable knowledge:

  • Apache Spark / Apache Flink
