GMV’s interest in cybersecurity is deeply embodied within its DNA. GMV cares for his own and his customer’s (past, present and future) security and the security of his own information and assets, getting ready to address any risk. Thus, GMV applies appropriate security measures to assure confidentiality, integrity and availability. Therefore, GMV Soluciones Globales Internet S.A.U. has successfully designed, implemented and certified by AENOR an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for its headquarters at Madrid (2004), Seville (2005), Barcelona (2005), Valladolid (2007), Valencia (2008) and Lisbon (2016), in accordance with ISO 27001 international standard and supported by ISO 27002 (Best Practices in Security) and ISO 31000 (risk management) standards. GMV is the first achieved ISO 27001 certificate in Spain among all still active.
For GMV, guaranteeing continuity of its operations (both for GMV’s own operations and his customer’s) if any crisis, disaster or incident occurs is a priceless asset; GMV needs to have all their business processes and assets ready to address such events, taking preventive measures, detecting and reacting when they occur, recovering from them and returning to normal condition. Thus GMV has implemented a Business Continuity internal process that protects all activities, from operations to the board, that evidences GMV’s interest on Business Continuity and all investments made to successfully address this issue when needed. GMV Soluciones Globales Internet has implemented a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) based on ISO 22301 standard. This BCMS was first certified by BSI in 2010 for ISO 22301 preceding standards. GMV was the second Spanish firm to achieve ISO 22301 certification for its business continuity management system.
