#Mujeresciber 2019

#mujeresciber (CyberWomen) is an annual event organized by Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute (Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad: INCIBE) with the collaboration of the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Government of Canada.

The main aims of this event are to up the profile of gender and cybersecurity and swap experiences; take stock of the current cybersecurity and gender situation both at national and international level; standardize, promote, stimulate and drive female cybersecurity talent; and debate the main problems in relation to gender violence in the digital area.

To tackle all these issues an interesting program has been drawn up with the collaboration of top cybersecurity professionals like Patricia Tejado, GMV’s Manager of GMV’s Digital Public Services sector, who is taking part in in the panel discussion: “Yes we can! – Regional Talent”.

The CyberWoman Challenge will also be held, a fun-based simulator exercise in which participating women learn to cope with a cyberattack on a server containing critical data. In a controlled environment, using the same tools and techniques as in a real scenario, participants try to plan and set up the necessary security to forestall attacks of this type.

This third #mujeresciber will be held on 5 and 6 November 2019 in the Auditorio Ciudad de León, León (Spain).
