Munich Satellite Navigation Summit

The Munich Satellite Navigation Summit is a conference with a global impact, dealing with satellite navigation now and in the future.

GNSS Is it time for Backup? This will be the overarching theme of 2017’s Munich Satellite Navigation Summit, to be held in the famous Residenz Muenchen from 14 to 16 March.

The Institute of Space Technology and Space Applications (ISTA) of Universität der Bundeswehr München will invite experts from all around the world to talk about the burning issues in positioning, navigation and timing, as well as the need of backup solutions.

Miguel Romay, Executive Director of GNSS– GMV Aerospace, will be giving a presentation together with other experts from industry, science and the government.

The Summit is part of the efforts of the Bavarian government and the cluster on aerospace and satellite navigation to stimulate applications and services in this high-tech field.
