GMV to Deliver Next-Generation Satellite Control Software Suite for the Telesat Lightspeed Constellation

GMV, the world’s number one supplier of satellite control systems, is proud to announce that it has been selected by Telesat (Nasdaq and TSX: TSAT) to develop and deliver the next‑generation satellite control software suite for the Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation. This strategic project represents a significant milestone for GMV, further cementing its leadership in the provision of advanced satellite control solutions and reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner in the global space industry.

The control centre software developed by GMV will manage flight operations of the Telesat Lightspeed satellites, enabling real-time monitoring, command, and control of all satellite assets.

GMV brings extensive expertise in satellite operations, having successfully delivered cutting-edge control centers for some of the world’s most advanced satellite missions. At the heart of this project will be GMV’s real-time telemetry and telecommand processing system Hifly^®, the flight dynamics system FocusSuite^® and the advance mission solution Flexplan^®.
