In its 21st edition, the event once again established itself as a leading European forum for Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and brought together representatives from armed forces, government institutions, space agencies, industry, and research centers from over 20 countries. The program included presentations and round-table discussions that fostered strategic dialogue, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration. GMV was represented at MILSSA by Alberto Águeda, the company’s director of Space Traffic Surveillance and Management, and Mark Dumville, GMV’s CEO in the United Kingdom. On the opening day of the event, Alberto Águeda participated in “How do we avoid a fragmented approach to SSA?” This panel discussion with other industry experts addressed the importance of space surveillance and the coordination of space operations in a context of orbital congestion resulting from the increase in launches and deployments of new satellites. On the second day, Alberto Agueda and Mark Dumville led a presentation on “End-to-end solutions for space domain awareness,” addressing issues such as passive RF operational networks; SDA domain coverage using state-of-the-art automated operating software; data curation and fusion for satellite characterization and behavioral pattern analysis; as well as applications for event and threat analysis within the Recognized Space Picture. GMV’s capabilities and expertise in this field include its Focusoc operations center, its Focusear passive RF satellite tracking system, and its Ecosstm surveillance, domain awareness, and space traffic management COTS (commercial orbital transportation services) software.GMV also participated in the event with a stand in the exhibition area to present its solutions in the field of space situational awareness, including surveillance and tracking of orbiting objects, space operations, system security and resilience, and the integration of capabilities in complex environments.
