GMV highlights the role of the space sector at elDiario.es’s 6th Foro Económico

On 25, 26 and 27 March, GMV took part in the 6^th Foro Económico, an elDiario.es event held in Madrid that has become a leading gathering for the business and economic community. Experts from the public and private sectors met at this new edition of the forum, which focused on the theme of “Spain’s leadership in European strategy” and was attended by authorities such as Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and Second Deputy PM and Minister of Labor and the Social Economy Yolanda Díaz, among others.

The three-day event included speeches, interviews and round-table discussions on the new challenges facing European strategic autonomy. On 26 March Enrique Fraga, GMV’s general manager for Space Systems, participated in a round-table discussion on “The cutting edge of aerospace: innovation and competitiveness in the new technological era,” highlighting the growing importance of the space sector in the current technological and geopolitical context.

During the session, Enrique Fraga underlined the ambitiousness of the Spain’s investment, which has enabled it to cement its leading role in key areas of the space sector. He also presented GMV’s perspective on the opportunities, challenges and changes currently facing both Spain and Europe. GMV also sponsored the event, reinforcing its commitment to using technology to ensure competitiveness, industry and strategic autonomy.
