Innovative applications for drones and robots.” This event will feature participation by representatives from the companies GMV, Canal de Isabel II, and Drone Prix S.L. Drones and robots have become increasingly common allies for the tasks we perform in our daily lives. These technologies make it possible to “go where people can’t”, and they can also be used to carry out some types of work more quickly and safely. This includes everything from infrastructure inspection flights to entry into confined or hazardous spaces, where drones and robots can be used to observe, measure, and gather information in a way that eliminates unnecessary risks. Thanks to the use of drones and robots, tasks that used to be difficult can be performed more easily, and they can offer new approaches to working, problem-solving, and decision-making in a broad range of areas. This online gathering, which has been organized by R&D Committee 13 of the Digital Transformation Group at the Spanish urban water management association DAQUAS, will give the participants an opportunity to present a range of experiences from various environments, to demonstrate how these technologies are now being applied to practical projects in a diverse set of contexts.Rafael Uceda, GMV’s Head of Autonomous Robotics Projects, will be explaining his company’s experiences with developing and implementing solutions based on autonomous robotics, for performing inspection work in industrial settings. His presentation will be focused on a variety of case studies where autonomous robots are being used to perform inspections in the field, with the aim of improving efficiency and safety while also optimizing processes and reducing operational risks.Registration Details 22/04/2026 10:00 AM Online More information Related Industry News GMV participates in the presentation of HispaRob and PTEC’s White Paper on Robotics in Construction Industry Advanced Factories 05 May - 07 May Industry News The new energy equation: data, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure
