European Space Conference

GMV will be attending the European Space Conference 2026, a high-level event being held in Belgium on January 27th and 28th, at the SQUARE – Brussels Meeting Centre. This gathering will bring together political leaders, institutional representatives, space industry experts, and university researchers, to analyze the main challenges and opportunities now existing for the European space industry in an increasingly competitive global context.

This conference has become established as a major forum for dialogue between the public and private sectors, with opportunities to address strategic issues such as industrial competitiveness, technological readiness, space connectivity, sustainability, security, space services, and the role of space as a driver of economic growth and strategic autonomy in Europe. With a program featuring plenary sessions, roundtable discussions, and specialized presentations, the event will encourage debate on the policies and priorities that will help shape the future of Europe’s space ecosystem.

GMV will play a leading role during both days of the conference, with participation by the company’s executives in various panel discussions. On January 27th, Jesús B. Serrano, CEO at GMV, will be taking part in the session on competitiveness and preparedness in the European space industry, and Miguel Romay, the company’s General Manager for Satellite Navigation, will be discussing the latest challenges for Europe’s global navigation satellite system (GNSS) services. On that same day, Enrique Fraga, GMV’s General Manager for Space Systems EST, will be analyzing the increasingly important role of multi-orbit connectivity in space. Then, on January 28th, Mariella Graziano, GMV’s Manager of Flight Segment Strategy and Business Development for Space Systems EST, and Alberto Agueda, GMV’s Manager of Space Surveillance and Space Traffic Management, will be taking part in sessions focused on space exploration as a driver of industry, and on orbital safety and sustainability.
