CEA Symposium on Robotics, Bioengineering, Machine Vision, and Marine Automation

Sponsored by the Spanish Committee of Automatics (CEA), the CEA Symposium on Robotics, Bioengineering, Machine Vision, and Marine Automation brings together researchers from different Spanish universities and research groups in this field, while also engaging industry companies and professionals. Due to the international importance of the agricultural sector in the province of Almería, this year’s edition will include sessions on the application of these technologies, which are already transforming the automation and robotization of agricultural production processes.
This 2025, University of Almería’s Automatics, Robotics, and Mechatronics Group has the honor of organizing the event, which hopes to be as successful as previous editions. The event will take place at two venues: the University of Almería campus, located on the Mediterranean coast, on June 4 and 5; and the city center for the activities on June 6 and the closing of the symposium. On Thursday June 5 at 4 p.m., GMV robotics engineer Mauricio Hidalgo will be participating in the round-table discussion organized by HispaRob to present our current robotics and automation projects in the agrifood sector.
