30th Telecommunications and Digital-Economy Encounter

On 5, 6, 7 and 8 September Santander’s conference center called Palacio de la Magdalena will be hosting the traditional Telecommunications and Digital-Economy Encounter, organized each year by the Spanish Association of Electronics, Digital Contents and ICT Companies (Asociación de Empresas de Electrónica, Tecnologías de la Información, Telecomunicaciones y Contenidos Digitales; AMETIC) and Fundación Telefónica. In this year’s encounter, the 30th of its kind, the employers association for ICT firms will be stressing the concept of digital revolution and the importance of Spain not missing out on this opportunity. Accordingly, the overarching slogan this year is “Building a Digital Spain”.

Luis Fernando Álvarez-Gascón, General Manager of GMV Secure e-Solutions, will be taking part in the panel discussion "Cybersecurity: Threats and Opportunities" giving his thoughts and opinions on the evolution of the sector and future trends in the offing.
