Against an increasingly demanding global backdrop, the event highlighted the need to move toward a partnership-driven model capable of forging a more robust, resilient industrial base with greater strategic autonomy. In this context, GMV took part in the Spain Pavilion organized by ICEX, where it unveiled uPathWay, its intelligent fleet management platform for autonomous mobile robots. Throughout the event, the company demonstrated how this solution coordinates heterogeneous systems, streamlines operations and accelerates robotics adoption in diverse industrial settings. The opening day featured an institutional visit from Jordi Hereu Boher, Spain’s Minister of Industry and Tourism, and Jordi García Brustenga, Secretary of State for Industry, who gained firsthand insight into GMV’s technology. During their tour of the stand, they had the opportunity to interact with a quadruped robot whose operations were being managed through uPathWay. Beyond the visual impact of the demonstration, visitors were drawn to the platform’s underlying approach. uPathWay is not designed to manage a single robot, rather to orchestrate entire fleets, regardless of manufacturer or system type. This vendor-agnostic design enables deployment in multiple sectors, a point of recurring interest among attendees from fields such as energy, logistics, construction, and chemicals.Another highly valued feature was its ability to adapt to varying operational needs without requiring bespoke development from scratch. Through a marketplace-based model, uPathWay integrates artificial intelligence modules that can be activated based on each client’s requirements, whether visual inspection, route optimization, or predictive maintenance. This approach enables faster, more scalable implementation, aligned with the industry’s current challenges.GMV’s presence at Hannover Messe thus reinforces its standing as a technology partner in advanced automation, helping drive an industry that is more efficient, connected, and prepared to meet the challenges ahead.
