Dasia-2024

Once again GMV took part in the International Conference on Space Systems Engineering, DASIA 2024 (Data Systems In Aerospace), held from 28-30 May in the city of Opatija, Croatia.

DASIA is an annual conference organized by Eurospace since 1996, whose aim is to bring together specialists in space data systems to encourage networking and serve as a platform for discussing and facilitating a better understanding of space-industry-related problems and matters.

In this edition GMV representatives shared a paper together with other sector professionals. João Gomes and Hugo Castaign, of GMV's Flight Segment and Robotics business unit, presented “Conversational Automated Program Repair for ARM Assembly Code using LLMs”, featuring the development of the AIRaider tool and its application in supporting space software developers. They discussed the innovative use of Large Language Models, specifically ChatGPT for Automated Program Repair, highlighting its effectiveness in fixing ARM assembly code bugs through a conversational approach and real-time feedback loops.

DASIA addresses technical and management aspects related to the development, operation and maintenance of components and data-handling systems for space and aeronautics command and control applications and other sectors requiring high reliability and complexity.

GMV's participation in this event is of key importance for GMV, since it attracts top-level participants from the space industry, universities, space agencies and institutes.
