SSEA Munich 2026

GMV will be a sponsor for this year’s Symposium on Space Educational Activities (SSEA Munich 2026), which will take place from April 8th to 10th at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). This event, which is now in its 5th edition, has become established as one of Europe’s leading events in the field of space education.

Organized by the Education Office of the European Space Agency (ESA), in collaboration with the host universities, the Symposium on Space Educational Activities brings together university students, teachers, researchers, professionals from the space industry, and representatives of national and international agencies, with the aim of encouraging exchanges of knowledge and university-industry collaborations.

The symposium provides a unique forum for presenting and discussing space-related educational projects, and for analyzing emerging trends in the areas of training and talent development. With more than 300 participants expected to attend, the event’s program puts an emphasis on cutting-edge student initiatives, including everything from CubeSat satellites to experiments designed for the International Space Station, plus innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to aerospace education.

Over the course of this three-day SSEA event there will be presentations, technical sessions, roundtable discussions, exhibitions, and networking activities, all with the aim of creating an environment for productive dialogue between students and key participants in the space ecosystem.
