Cybersecurity in outsourcing ecosystems

Trade magazine SIC is holding a new edition of TISEC Space, focusing on one of today’s major cybersecurity challenges: risk management in outsourcing environments. With the theme “Cybersecurity in outsourcing ecosystems,” the event will bring together industry experts to analyze the impact of supply chain complexity on the digital protection of organizations.

One of the featured speakers will be Mariano J. Benito, Cybersecurity & Privacy Ambassador at GMV, who will be participating alongside Francisco Lázaro, CISO at Spain’s state-owned railway company RENFE, to present the paper "A Single, Shared Statement of Liability for Third-Party Management". The session will highlight the need to establish common frameworks of liability and collaboration between companies and suppliers to strengthen security across the digital ecosystem.

The event will address how globalization, digital transformation and regulatory requirements are forcing organizations to rethink their risk management models. In particular, it will analyze the growing exposure to third-party threats, especially for SMEs with less cybersecurity maturity, and how these vulnerabilities directly impact large companies, which are often listed on the stock market and subject to strict legal and reputational oversight.
