GMV will be participating in the 26th edition of the Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies (AMOS) Conference, which will take place in Hawaii from September 16th to 19th, at the Wailea Beach Resort Marriott on the island of Maui. Recognized as the premier international forum on Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Space Domain Awareness (SDA), the AMOS Conference will bring together more than 1,000 governmental, military, academic, and industry experts.

This event is organized by the Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB) and will feature a solid technical program that will begin with some intensive courses on subjects such as artificial intelligence, adaptive optics, astrodynamics, and satellite characterization. Then, from September 17th to 19th, the focus will shift to keynote speakers, technical sessions, discussion panels on global space policies, and poster sessions in hybrid format.

There will also be activities held in parallel with the conference, including the EMER-GEN program, which is dedicated to young professionals, and Student Space Exploration Day on September 19th, which has the aim of presenting space science to students from Maui who are interested in STEM careers.

With more than 150 technical proposals accepted from 24 countries, and a hybrid format that allows live access on demand, the AMOS conference will be further solidifying its reputation as a key event for the fields of space sustainability and space surveillance. GMV will be contributing several technical presentations, and will also have its own stand at the event.
