4th HealthTech Observer (HTO) Workshop
HEALTHCARE DATA AND ITS ROLE IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF HEALTH SYSTEMS
HealthTech Observer (HTO) is a forum sponsored by GMV, which brings together healthcare professionals from the clinical, technological, and research fields, and the 4th edition of this event will be addressing the strategic role of data for modernizing health systems.
The workshop will feature participation by representatives from Spain’s Ministry of Health and Ministry for Digital Transformation, as well as others from Spain’s regional health services and from leading biomedical research institutes.
Some of the key topics discussed during the event will include:
- Digital transformation in the Valencian Community healthcare system
- Levers and brakes that can affect the advancement of digital health
- Use of clinical and omics data for personalized medicine
- Creation of federated data spaces for research
- Challenges for increasing sustainability and collaboration in data networks
In this context, the OmicSpace project, which is being coordinated by the La Fe Healthcare Research Institute, will be presented as an example of a federated data network for health research. OmicSpace, which is already benefiting from participation by scientific leaders from a variety of nodes distributed throughout Spain, is integrating clinical, genomic, and biobank information, all in line with European standards.
The HTO workshop provides a meeting place for sharing experiences and best practices, discussing the digital future of healthcare, and encouraging collaboration among professionals, institutions, and private-sector companies.
