Defining a new future for industry: smart, sustainable, and resilient

Position your company at the cutting edge of innovation
At GMV, we’re helping to transform industry towards a new paradigm, characterized by operational efficiency, sustainable digitalization, and resilience in the face of disruptions. Our work brings together advanced technologies such as robotics, the Industrial Internet of things (IIoT), artificial intelligence, and quantum computing, and then applies these technologies in critical industrial environments to improve decision-making, reduce energy consumption, and increase productivity.
We develop solutions with high added value in the fields of automation, digitalization, and cybersecurity, adapted for use in major industries such as energy and utilities, chemical production, logistics, manufacturing, automotive, food and agriculture, and more. Our experience allows us to address the operational challenges of the present as well as the strategic opportunities of the future, by applying a robust and secure technological approach aligned with the principles of Industry 5.0.
We develop, implement, and maintain advanced robotic systems that integrate sensors, cells, cameras, field transmitters, and enabling technologies such as machine vision and artificial intelligence. These solutions allow real-time monitoring and control for industrial processes, to optimize production line performance, improve product quality, and reduce cycle times.
Our robotics solutions are also being used in environments that present risks or have limited access, such as areas with toxic substances, radiation, or extreme conditions, to enhance occupational safety by replacing human intervention with safe and controlled automation.
Our uPathWay solution allows centralized, scalable, agnostic management of mobile robots and industrial autonomous vehicles, regardless of the equipment’s manufacturer. It allows real-time viewing and analysis of operational data, while also ensuring compliance with objectives on traceability, safety, and efficiency. Thanks to its flexible architecture, this solution can be integrated into complex and highly automated environments.

Platform for the management and application of autonomous mobile robots
The use of machine vision allows high-precision automation of inspection and control processes. At GMV, we develop systems that bring together image processing, spectral analysis, machine learning, and geolocation (GIS), for applications that include:
- Anomaly detection
- In-line quality control
- Advanced sorting of wastes and raw materials
- Hyperspectral control for agribusiness, chemical plants, etc.
Our uSpot solution applies machine vision and artificial intelligence for autonomous monitoring of industrial processes, to ensure quality, traceability, and efficiency. It can be used for detecting defects, identifying patterns, and adjusting parameters in real time

The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Vision tool for production control
We design and implement secure, interoperable, and scalable Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) architectures that use sensors, equipment, and systems distributed at industrial facilities to capture, display, and make use of real-time data. We also make it easier to integrate vertical platforms with SCADA, MES, and ERP systems, to enhance data-driven decision-making and provide robust traceability for processes and resources.
We apply standardized industrial protocols, edge solutions, and secure connectivity for operational technology (OT) environments.
We apply artificial intelligence to physical and digital industrial systems, to allow modeling, monitoring, and optimization of processes with high levels of autonomy. Our solutions make it possible to improve operational efficiency, detect deviations, and anticipate malfunctions or inefficiencies.
Our GMV PitIA solution applies machine learning models to detect anomalies in industrial environments, R&D laboratories, and agribusiness facilities. It can identify quality deviations, adjust operational parameters, and anticipate potential failures. It can also be used for energy analysis, prediction of peak demand periods, and dynamic production adjustments

Early detection of anomalies
- We develop digital platforms focused on operational efficiency and the user experience, through the use of UX design, cloud-native architectures, and agile methodologies. These solutions can be used to:
- Manage industrial assets
- Monitor operational and energy-related KPIs
- Integrate AI and advanced visualization tools
- Generate control panels and automated reports
We bring together the latest technologies to reduce carbon footprints, optimize energy use, and promote sustainable industrial practices. We apply intelligent control algorithms, simulation models, and predictive analysis to reduce costs and improve the environmental performance of production systems.
This integration of technologies, reduction of carbon footprints, and environmental performance optimization can all be oriented around compliance with corporate ESG objectives and standards such as ISO 50001. Our solutions are based on application of:
- Predictive energy consumption models
- Intelligent control algorithms
- Simulation of operational scenarios
- Real-time resource optimization
The current regulatory context, which includes frameworks such as NIS2, DORA, CER, CRA, and Spain’s National Security Scheme (ENS), has created a situation where industrial entities must be able to demonstrate their ability to withstand, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents. At GMV, we apply a comprehensive operational technology / information technology (OT/IT) security strategy that includes:
- Segmentation of industrial networks
- Continuous monitoring and threat detection
- A secure-by-design approach
- Risk management and regulatory compliance
Resilience as a culture is a cross-cutting component for all of our technological developments.
We perform cybersecurity diagnostics for industry, based on the strictest international standards and best practices (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, Spain’s CCI), in order to evaluate, plan, and strengthen protection capabilities. Some examples of these activities include:
- Maturity assessment and GAP analysis
- Penetration testing
- Vulnerability management
- Definition of improvement plans
- Bastioning for industrial equipment
- Alignment with compliance requirements (NIS2, Spain’s ENS, etc.)
INNOVATION
We develop cutting-edge solutions in collaboration with the European industrial innovation ecosystem, and we have led strategic projects such as CUCO (quantum computing) and AgrarIA (AI for agri-food sustainability). Our commitment to Industry 5.0 is based on our desire to promote a humane, sustainable, and technologically advanced transition.
