Cybersecurity Seminars at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos I

Cybersecurity is now going through a boom period and a whole host of firms and government authorities are now looking for highly skilled professionals. To meet this need the Higher IT Engineering School (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática) of the Madrid university called Universidad Rey Juan Carlos I, together with the Madrid ISACA Chapter has organized the following cycle of seminars.

GMV, as a benchmark cybersecurity firm, has been invited to give one of the seminars. The CISO of GMV Secure e-Solutions, Mariano Benito, will be addressing the issue of “Information Security and Auditing in Cloud Computing Environments”, giving a constructive view of Cloud benefits (both the obvious ones and the less obvious ones, plus other advantages offered by things that claim to be Cloud), while showing the control options within our reach, ranging from auditing to the phasing in of monitoring checks.
