Details

As part of its ongoing commitment to developing budding scientific and technical talent, GMV is collaborating as a “platinum” partner in the 2nd Asti Robotics Challenge.

The event, to be held on 12 May in Burgos, is being organized by the ASTI Talent & Tech Foundation in collaboration with the Human Evaluation Museum (Museo de la Evaluacion Humana: MEH), ASTI Mobile Robotics and the charity arm (Obra Social) of the bank La Caixa. It aims to bring out STEM talent and empower the upcoming generation of leaders in the collaborative mobile robotics field.

A total of 45 teams made up by 250 participants from the Spanish regions of Castilla y León, Madrid, Galicia and Cantabria will be vying with each other for nearly seven hours to showcase their robotics skills.

The submitted projects will be judged by a jury made up by top-level innovation-, technology- and entrepreneurship-professionals, featuring Mariella Graziano, Manager of GMV’s Space and Robotics Segment.
