GMV takes part in the SATELLITE 2012 Conference and Exhibition

The week of March 12-15th, GMV participated in the annual conference and exhibition, SATELLITE 2012. This is the company’s 10th consecutive year attending the Washington, DC based annual convention. SATELLITE is the world’s most important event in the satellite telecommunications sector. It brings together the key players of the satellite communications industry to network and discuss the latest developments.

GMV ran its own exhibit stand (booth 491) to give live demonstrations of its complete line of satellite control systems: hifly®, focusSuite and smart payload.

GMV’s General Manager of Aerospace, Jorge Potti, was an invited panelist in the session titled: “Satellite Life Extension: Ready to Make an Impact?”, involving a detailed review of the “state of the art” and future chances of in-orbit satellite life extension. GMV was invited to contribute based on recognized their superior technical knowledge and capabilities in this area.
