The meeting was promoted by the Carlos III University of Madrid and was part of the events agenda of CEAS (Council of European Aerospace Societies), an organization composed of 18 national aerospace societies and corporate members, representing up to 35,000 aerospace professionals. With each edition, the EuroGNC conference seeks to foster the exchange of knowledge on guidance, control, and navigation (GNC) between different actors in the field of aeronautics and space. Consequently, during the meeting, issues related to the automotive industry, wind energy, robotics, and underwater vehicles, among others, were discussed.GMV took part in several speeches throughout the event. José Briz, CNG engineer, presented the paper "Tractor-Beam: An Experimental Testbed for Control of In-Orbit Service Systems with Varying Flexible Dynamics and Inertia" on behalf of GMV. In the session on "Navigation in GNSS‑Denied and Challenging Environments", promoted by INTA (Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial), Javier García Artieda, GNC Engineer at GMV, and Miguel González Frías, technical manager at GMV, shared their perspective on the application of the pseudospectral Gaussian method to the design of interceptor trajectories. Santiago García, R&D Engineer at GMV, and Enrique Loyoza, GMV Project Manager, presented a paper setting out the developments carried out as part of AIRSENSE, a project focusing on the design of a UAV navigator for operating in scenarios with a denied GNSS signal. The project, which is currently in its second phase, provided an overview at this conference of the positive results obtained in its first phase. This year, GMV was also present as sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to technological excellence and the development of groundbreaking CNG solutions.
