GMV promotes digital resilience at 6th STIC Conference & RootedCON Congress in Dominican Republic

GMV participated as a sponsor in the 6th STIC Conference & RootedCON Congress, held in Santo Domingo from May 27 to 29, 2026. The event was organized by Spain’s National Cryptologic Center (CCN)—a part of its National Intelligence Center (CNI)—the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE), and RootedCON, together with the Dominican Republic’s National Intelligence Directorate (DNI).

Held under the theme “A Digital Shield Against Cyber Threats,” the gathering brought together institutional representatives, cybersecurity experts, and leading technology companies to discuss the major challenges in today’s digital landscape and advocate a coordinated response to threats affecting governments, critical infrastructure, organizations, and citizens.

Representing GMV was Javier Zubieta, Marketing and Communications Manager at Secure e-Solutions, who took part in the conference program, sharing the company’s perspective on the importance of fostering a culture of resilience within organizations.

During his presentation, he said: “Adopting a culture of resilience will be key to helping organizations withstand the new economic and geostrategic challenges they face. This means aligning and integrating technological, cybersecurity, organizational, and strategic capabilities across every dimension, including organization, processes, technology, and people.”
