GMV presents "Wineo: Precision agriculture by means of earth observation and IoT”

On 25 September GMV played a key role at JasperWorld 2014, a conference in which Jaspersoft and its main partners, like GMV, presented the latest technological breakthroughs and market trend of Business Intelligence.

GMV presented "Wineo: Precision agriculture by means of earth observation and IoT”. Wineo is a GMV-developed web portal where clients (crop farmers, farmer groupings, producers and institutions) can view, mine and analyze information from earth observation services to help decision-making in the field.

Among others, Wineo offers the following services:

Viewing and management of earth-observation images for farming purposes 

• Viewing and management of earth-observation images for forestry purposes
• Climate indices
• Irrigation needs
• Biophysical data

Wineo helps in decision-making procedures to reduce farm costs, boost output and minimize the environmental impact.
