For the first time, the world’s largest industrial trade fair, Hannover Messe, took place entirely online. This edition, under the theme‘Innovation, inspiration, interaction’, was sponsored in part by GMV to respond to the specific needs of the industrial sector.

During the event, GMV presented its Automation, Digitization and Cybersecurity solutions and services to the international market. Through these broad technology areas, GMV takes on the major challenges of the industries to make them more competitive on the global market, making their industrial processes more sustainable and efficient throughout the value chain. Many global industries are reinventing themselves, adapting to the new reality since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, increasingly committed to digital and green technologies to remain relevant on the market.

It is the time to create more inclusive workplaces, build more resilient supply chains and adopt more sustainable production methods. To do that, digitization and automation offer unprecedented opportunities to industries, while also considering the importance of working in a 100% safe environment. For example, advances in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics are making it possible to optimize human-machine interactions, driving the added value contributed by workers in the factory, empowering the workers and increasing the resilience of the industries.
