It will have an enormous impact for manufacturers, distributors, integrators, and consumers.

What does the CRA require?
From now on, digital products must:
• Include security documentation
• Incorporate risk analysis
• Detect and report vulnerabilities
• Develop and distribute patches for 10 years

Time schedule:
First obligations: September 11, 2026
Mandatory application begins in December 2027 for new and updated products.
