Challenges, improvements and proposals for the health

GMV has participated in the third meeting between researchers in the field of health from the University of Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M), public hospitals of the Platform for Innovation in Medical and Health Technologies (ITEMAS) and technological centers and enterprises, where we can find GMV.

 This edition has deepened on the challenges, improvements and proposals for the health sector, such as the offer that GMV has been presented by Carlos Royo, Director of Business Development, and Rafael Navajo, Manager of Business Development.

The meeting was inaugurated by Javier Prieto, Vice Chancellor of Science Policy at UC3M, and Manuel Desco, coordinator of the Platform ITEMAS, who spoke about the importance of creating value from research results and the growing preponderance of innovation in European projects.

In the various exhibitions they presented the possibilities of new medical devices, sensors and developments in the area of ​​biomechanics, digital health and M-Health, Big Data in the health sector, medical imaging and simulation, as well as biomaterials, tissue engineering and 3D printing.

Among other objectives of the meeting, the organization was focused on working the strength of collaboration between companies, in projects and consortiums, as well as in obtaining public and private funding for the development of R & D to become real innovative products for the society.
