Smart Agrifood AI

The European Foundation for Innovation (INTEC) will host the International Congress on Artificial Intelligence applied to the agri-food chain “Smart Agrifood from Farm to Table” at the Rectorate of the University of Cordoba. This event aims to boost the productive economy, especially in the digital transformation of the agri-food chain, by using artificial intelligence, in line with the European "Farm to Table" strategy. In addition, it seeks to be a leader in Spain in innovation by promoting entrepreneurship and startups in the emerging field of the new digital economy, especially in the use of artificial intelligence.

The goal is to create an ecosystem in Cordoba that will endure and create wealth in the region by supporting innovation, entrepreneurs and startups related to the agricultural, livestock, fishing and restaurant sectors, supported by emerging technologies.

Miguel Hormigo, GMV's Industry Manager, is taking part in the discussion panel on "Artificial Intelligence, logistics and agrifood supply chain: from farm to table" with a paper on the experience of Robotics in Agritech use (Friday 30, 10:30 am).
