“El futuro de la salud: federado, centrado en el ciudadano e impulsado por el conocimiento”

On the 4th, Gaia-X’s vertical healthcare project called Health-X will be presented at an online event. With the slogan, “The future of healthcare: federated, citizen-centered, and knowledge-driven,” the event will feature use cases, data standards and “Break out” sessions. All of this is aimed at achieving Gaia-X’s goal: making health data accessible to generate knowledge that improves prevention and personalized care and fosters a better dialogue between citizens and health professionals, as well as contributing to the progress of health policies and medical innovation.

Rubén Villoria, Business Solutions for Health Privacy and Evidence will participate in this event in a discussion coordinated by the Biocomputing Unit of the Institute of Health Sciences of Aragon, representative of the Joint Action project of the  European Commission TEHDAS , which implements European principles for the secondary use of health data. He will talk about GMV’s experience in interoperability and common healthcare data models and, in particular, how it applies the common European data model, OMOP, within the framework of the HARMONY project.

GMV is now certified by the European Health Data and Evidence Network (EHDEN) in OMOP CDM, a common data model for the analysis, use, and exploitation of disparate databases to facilitate the development of new treatments, therapies, and drugs.
