CYSAT Europe

GMV will take part in CYSAT Europe, one of the leading European events dedicated to cybersecurity in the space sector which will be held on May 20–21 at Station F in Paris (France).

CYSAT has established itself as the reference event in Europe in this field, bringing together experts, agencies, industry, startups, and the technology community to address the growing challenges related to the protection of space systems. In a context shaped by the increasing reliance on space assets and the evolution of cyber threats, the event focuses on securing space infrastructure throughout its entire lifecycle, from design to operations.

The program includes technical presentations, panel discussions, and demonstrations focused on the main challenges facing the sector, as well as networking opportunities with professionals from the space and cybersecurity industries.

In this context, GMV will actively participate in the technical program. On May 20, from 14:30 to 15:00, at the Master Stage, Daniel San Miguel, Head of 5G Security Solutions at GMV, and Leticia Para, Ground Segment Telecom Engineer at GMV, will deliver a presentation titled “Cybersecurity in 5G for Space”. During the session, they will address the challenges and opportunities related to the integration of 5G technologies in the space domain, as well as the cybersecurity implications for ensuring the protection of critical communications and services.
