A surge of excitement for space has landed in Extremadura with the CASSINI Space Camps, a European initiative aimed at young people aged 14 to 18 who dream of building their future surrounded by rockets, satellites, and space data.

Held in seven locations across the EU, these free camps offer an immersive 5- to 10-day experience focused on awakening scientific and technological careers through hands-on, collaborative learning. In the Spanish edition, which will take place from July 20 to 26, participants will create technological projects with real space data, work in teams with other young Europeans, and meet experts from the sector.

The program is structured around six topic-based modules, ranging from an introduction to the space industry to the role of space on Earth, entrepreneurship, career opportunities, space exploration, and inclusion. This year, María Antonia Ramos Prada, Head of Space Traffic Management (STM) Policy and Business at GMV, will be a guest speaker, addressing the current challenges in space traffic regulation and management.

An exceptional opportunity to approach the major issues of the future of space in an educational and participatory environment.
