Breakfast: Innovation and digitalization in the logistics and transportation industries, to confront the new energy challenge

The aim of this colloquium is to identify and address the new tasks and challenges that must be taken on in these industries, in order to adapt and remain competitive. It will encourage sharing of potential solutions and promote discussion regarding the actions that must be taken to lower energy costs, minimize CO2 emissions, and make progress towards more digital and automated models. This will also include identification of some key technologies and tools for transformation, within this context of energy and digital transition.</p>

Another topic for discussion at this event will be Next Generation EU funds, as a mechanism for carrying out projects focused on improvement, competitiveness, and technological progress in these industries. Specifically, these funds are being applied through component 6 of Spain’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, which is “Sustainable, Safe, and Connected Mobility”.

Magda Andrés Barrios, GMV’s Business Developer Manager for Industry, is participating in this colloquium in order to encourage the use of technologies and digitalization for improving energy efficiency and sustainability, in these industries that are a key element of the Spanish economy.
