3rd Defense Challenges Forum

On January 29, the city of Córdoba will host the third edition of the Defense Challenges Forum, held this year under the title “Operational Deterrence: The Architecture of Security in the New Era.”

Organized by El Confidencial with the support of GMV, the forum will bring together, at the Córdoba Conference Center, political leaders, senior officers from the three branches of the armed forces, representatives of European and transatlantic institutions, industry executives, and defense experts.

The forum aims to analyze how Spanish and European defense are adapting to a changing context marked by the war in Europe, the emergence of new threats, and rapid technological transformation.

The event will feature an address by the Secretary of State for Defense, María Amparo Valcarce, as well as the participation of the General Manager of GMV´s Defense and Security sector, Manuel Pérez Cortés, in a roundtable on multidomain deterrence, where key strategies, projects, and objectives for the transformation of continental defense will be discussed.
