34th Securmática Congress

From October 8-10, the 34th Securmática Global Congress on Cybersecurity, Information Security and Privacy will take place in Madrid. This is one of the leading events in the field of cybersecurity, where CISOs and executives from major Spanish companies will be sharing their latest projects, initiatives, and approaches with experts from the technology industry.

The theme for this edition is “Let’s get to work... together”, and GMV will be joining with Red.es to make a presentation entitled “CiberSOC: towards holistic cybersecurity management and assessment at Red.es”. Manuel Domínguez, Head of Cybersecurity for Red.es, together with Eduardo Hernández, GMV’s Information Security, Privacy and Cybersecurity Consultant, will be discussing the road map that Red.es has developed for effectively managing and assessing corporate cybersecurity, as a way of addressing the increasingly complex and constantly growing cyber threat landscape that all types of organizations are now facing, especially those in the public sector. This approach relies heavily upon an SOC with capabilities that go beyond the usual focus on cyber incident monitoring and response, in order to apply a holistic approach that also covers aspects of cybersecurity governance.
