IDocStation - Portable and intelligent health device for telemedicine

Due to the epidemiological situation caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and the disease caused by it, COVID-19, telemedicine is becoming especially important. The need to obtain biometric data from the patient during the consultation makes it more difficult to provide the most accurate diagnosis in every situation.

However, this challenge can be overcome by using various medical devices that allow the necessary data to be collected and communicated through a telemedicine computer application.

For this purpose, there is a proposal to develop portable health care equipment that includes medical biodetection devices, with connection to a telemedicine computer app. This equipment can be distributed in key locations, for use by individuals or groups that lack in‑person medical care, or where the risk of contamination (COVID) may be high (hospitals and health care centers, associations, care homes for the elderly, companies, and similar sites).

With this project, the goal is to develop a national value chain to train the health system, through the integration of telemedicine, on the measures to return to work following confinement.
