Munich Space Summit
From March 23rd to 27th, GMV will be participating in the Munich Space Summit 2026, which is being held at the Alte Kongresshalle event center in that city. This gathering has become established as a top new international forum for dialogue, innovation, and cooperation in Europe’s space industry. This summit was created as a merger of two flagship meetings, the Munich New Space Summit and the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit, and it offers a full week of presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking activities.
The first half of the event, known as the New Space Segment, will be focused on the dynamic nature of the commercial space industry, the role of private investment, and the growth of the space start‑up ecosystem. It will also feature analysis of emerging applications in areas such as telecommunications, Earth observation, and space mobility, along with new business models and public-private collaboration.
The second part of the week-long event, known as the Satellite Navigation Segment, will be centered on the main challenges and opportunities related to global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) and resilient positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) architectures, as well as their applications in the areas of mobility, security, and critical infrastructure, together with the associated regulatory frameworks and policies.
GMV will be playing a notable role during both of the event’s segments, as a “Constellation” sponsor for the New Space Segment and “Platinum” sponsor for the Satellite Navigation Segment, with its own stand in both cases. In addition, on March 25th, GMV’s CEO in Germany, Mattia Moscardino, will be taking part in a panel discussion entitled “Innovation Spotlights – Industry Perspectives”, along with representatives from other leading companies in the space industry.
