10th EUROPEAN UNION-LATIN AMERICA SEMINAR

On 2 March the Euroamerica Foundation, with the collaboration of the Ibero-American Secretariat General (Secretaría General Iberoamericana: SEGIB) and the representation of the European Commission in Spain, will be putting on the 10th European Union-Latin America Seminar. The forum aims to serve as a dialogue forum and meeting point to showcase the ideas, actions, challenges and achievements in research, development and the transfer of knowledge between these two great areas of the world.

This year’s seminar will center on two main areas: firstly, cooperation in innovation, science and technology to boost competitiveness and, secondly, internationalization and cooperation between the companies of these two regions, implying a transfer not only of knowhow and human capital but also technology and innovation.

Luis Fernando Álvarez-Gascón, CEO of GMV Secure e-Solutions, President of the Innovation Area of the Spanish Association of ICT Companies (AMETIC) and Vice President of the R&D Committee of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), will be taking part in the second session on “Transfer of entrepreneurial knowledge: Cooperation between companies”.
