João Neto awarded “Best Poster” prize at INForum 2024

João Neto, an intern at GMV in Portugal, within the Defense and Security sector, participated in the INForum 2024 conference, held on September 5th and 6th at the Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa, where he was awarded the prize for Best Poster of the event. The awarded work, titled "Cyber Red Team Bot with Reinforcement Learning," reflects the core concept of his master's project.

This thesis, developed under the proposal of GMV, explores the application of an autonomous agent in the field of cybersecurity. During his internship at GMV, João Neto will focus on developing this AI agent, designed to conduct penetration testing and training in cyber ranges. The goal is to advance more automated and adaptive cybersecurity solutions, enhancing the effectiveness of protective measures and improving the capacity for training in the cyber domain.
