GMV obtains AENOR’s R&D certification

GMV Soluciones Globales Internet S.A.U. has obtained certification of its R&D Management System following the audit by the Spanish Certification and Standardization Association, AENOR, at the start of this year. This certification vouches for conformity of its system with the standard UNE 166002:2006.

GMV’s mission as a highly competitive technological firm boasting worldwide leadership is to develop a continual stream of advanced solutions. Crucial to this endeavor is its ongoing research and development (R&D), shoring up its market position and ensuring sustainable growth in the future.

The system came through the evaluation with flying colors, obtaining certification for the activities of research and development in mathematics, logic, medical sciences and computer technology applied to all the following:

• Critical infrastructure and smart controls (critical infrastructure management, smart security controls, fraud detection and prevention, artificial intelligence and cryptography).
• Risks and threats in future networks (future internet security, technological risk management and fraud management).
• Managed, virtual and cloud services (new cloud deployment models, cloud security and Big Data).
• New collaboration services and schemes (advanced platforms for telecommunications operators, new mobility services, social networking sites and Smart Cities).
• E-health (advanced health technology, medical imaging, radiotherapy, rehabilitation and telemedicine).
