GMV drives automation and cybersecurity in Industry at Advanced Factories

GMV participated once again this year in Advanced Factories, the leading event in digitalization, automation, and robotics, held from April 8 to 10 at Fira Barcelona – Gran Vía. At this edition, the company reaffirmed its commitment to technological innovation in smart factories.

Over the course of the three-day event, the GMV team gave live demos of uPathWay, a platform for the centralized, scalable, and agnostic management of mobile robots and autonomous vehicles in industrial environments. The solution, integrated into a mobile robot for sustainable protection of woody crops, generated significant interest at the joint AER Automation stand.

Powered by artificial intelligence, uPathWay enables the coordination and monitoring of heterogeneous robot fleets from a unified, central environment, facilitating complex missions such as inspection, logistics, and tasks in environments that are hazardous for humans. With its manufacturer independence, external system integration capabilities, and flexibility to incorporate new functionalities, uPathWay is a key tool for advancing toward safer, more efficient, and smarter factories.
