ASEPA II

June 17 saw completion of the second “Autonomous and Connected Vehicle Specialization Course”, organized by the Spanish Automobile Professionals’ Association (Asociación Española de Profesionales de Automoción: ASEPA) in collaboration with the University Institute for Automobile Research (Instituto Universitario de Investigación del Automóvil: INSIA-UPM) following on from the excellent takeup of the first course last year. According to the association itself, the course has been designed to meet the main technical training needs of the near future or even today itself.

The course, given in INSIA’s Madrid Training Center, was organized in two modules, one dealing with the autonomous vehicle and the other with the connected vehicle.

Starting on 19 May and ending on 17 June, it involved the participation of 16 experts in these matters, including not only researchers and academics but also representatives of the main firms and cutting-edge brands in the world of autonomous and connected vehicles.

GMV collaborated in this course, giving one of the lectures dealing with different cases of vehicle communication apps, offering details on a wide range of connected-vehicle services in which GMV is inputting its vast experience.
