Also, in the area of maritime transport, GMV integrates coastal DGPS corrections transmission systems according to IALA/RTCM standards. These systems rely on transmitter stations set up in diverse coastal points, control centers, and GPS and communications equipment on ships. Each DGPS Station has 2 reference stations, 2 integrity monitors, a control computer, a communications system (RDSI or GSM), an uninterrupted power supply system and a marine radio beacon. The system has been designed in a redundant configuration, guaranteeing it robustness in the case of failures and creating an autonomous system.
