The present challenge for electronic Administration happens with the development of the Information Society through solutions enabling secure transactions, available and mobile, without the requirement of physical presence.
The combined experience in every performance area, together with GMV's commitment to a constant investment in Research, Development and Innovation, as well as the mastering of technologies and open standards that guarantee secure interoperability, are the key factors in allowing the development of solutions that contribute real value to the social development in Spain.
These solutions aim to offer citizens a faster and hassle-free service thanks to the possibility of performing administrative operations online in accordance with the Lisbon Strategy. In Spain, the implementation of electronic administration (e-government) will be driven by the Law on Electronic Administration, which guarantees the citizens' right to access all administration services via teleprocessing.
In this context and in keeping with the objectives of Public Administrations, GMV proposes the development of generic electronic services (payment, registration, notification, etc.) in addition to that of specific services (licensing and permit management, etc.) inherently based on digital identification services (electronic ID in particular).
