Satellite navigation algorithms

GMV's GNSS processing algorithms are currently running in operational facilities of EGNOS and Galileo.

The key areas of expertise in satellite navigation algorithms include:

  • Time synchronization
  • Integrity determination
  • Ionosphere determination
  • Tropospheric determination
  • Data pre-processing
  • Precise positioning
  • Wide & local area augmentation
  • Constellation design and optimization
  • Sensors integration
  • Indoor navigation

GMV has patented an Isotropy-Based Protection Level (IBPL) integrity algorithm which is implemented in some of the GNSS products and solutions developed by GMV for different customers.

GMV collaborates with different international institutes, research organizations and laboratories. In particular, GMV is one of the IGS Real-time Analysis Centers and participates in different pilot projects proposed by IGS.
