These systems aim at the processing and dissemination of upper level products, applying new models to the time series data coming from different satellite sensors and composing regional and global maps. Predictive models about the behavior of the planet Earth are verified and consolidated contributing to a better understanding of the global processes affecting the living planet.

GMV collaborates with Institutions, EO Agencies and research entities in order to exploit the EO data under new methods and paradigms that enhance our knowledge of the environment and assess the EO information from a global perspective.

GMV has participated in the ESA Data User Element and it is currently participating in the ESA Climate Change Initiative, Eumetsat Satellite Facilities Applications and the SMOS Level 3 and Level 4 Processing Center.
