Please be informed that the data taken from the website www.gmv.com (hereinafter, the WEBSITE) will be entered in our personal-data computer files to be held there under strict conditions of privacy and confidentiality and with the complete assurance that your data will not be used for any purposes other than those for which it was originally solicited, as specified herein.

The data controller is Grupo Tecnológico e Industrial GMV S.A. (hereinafter, GMV), with C.I.F (company tax identification number) A-28972495, and the files concerned have been duly registered in the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

GMV’s purpose in asking for personal data via the various WEBSITE contact forms is, firstly, to ensure a proper response to users’ questions, suggestions, complaints and recommendations, secondly, to receive jobseekers’ CVs and career information and, in general, to send information on the company’s services and any other question of interest bearing any direct relation with GMV’s corporate purpose and activity.

GMV hereby guarantees that it is in possession of the necessary and sufficient technical and security measures to ensure proper confidentiality, integrity and security of all data received and stored and also to avoid loss thereof and access thereto by any unauthorized third parties, taking due account of the existing state of technology, any cases of force majeure or fortuitous circumstances and in due accordance with current legislation.

Users’ input of personal data will always be voluntary and under no circumstances will GMV solicit same without said users’ prior consent. Nonetheless, for said data to be correctly recorded and sent, it may be necessary and obligatory for each and every one of the fields on the data form to be filled in, this compulsoriness being shown by means of an asterisk (*).

GMV hereby guarantees that the personal data stored in its files will not be assigned to third parties without the previous, express and unequivocal consent of the data subjects, barring exceptions provided for by law.

Likewise, WEBSITE users hereby undertake to ensure the corresponding truthfulness of the data supplied.

The user’s acceptance of this PRIVACY POLICY implies his or her consent for receiving electronic communications of a commercial, publicity or promotional nature in the form of newsletters or the like, dealing with products or service marketed under the GMV brand or other brands under GMV’s tenure or giving any other information on the company and its services. Under current law, users are entitled to object to the processing of their data for this purpose, not only at the moment said data is initially recorded but also upon any subsequent communication received.

GMV reserves the right to amend or adapt this PRIVACY POLICY at any moment, for the purpose of phasing in any pertinent changes in the law or for any other purpose deriving from its business model or modifications therein. The new wording will be published on the WEBSITE itself and will then be subject once more to user consent.
