GMV actively participates in international working groups dealing with the standardization, certification and operational commissioning of GBAS systems and the operational implementation of air-navigation GNSS systems. GMV is one of AENA’s main suppliers of GNSS technologies applied to the aeronautics sector. GMV provides an across-the-board service from consultancy to operational implementation of GNSS systems in Spain, including the operational validation and certification of the GNSS systems up to implementation and roll-out of GBAS and EGNOS infrastructure.

GMV also participates in various international groups working towards aeronautical standardization and specification in approach and landing systems, UAVs, system safety and development of the RTCA DO-178B standard. This work takes in both the civil and military side, under the aegis of NATO
